New heir to my kingdom arrived recently and I checked out his stats per usual.
He has had an incentous relationship with his daughter.... and hes 15. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif
Even asssuming hes a peadophile (however you spell that word) on top of doing his daughter, I'm still pretty damn sure its not possible to do that. Plus I'm sure I've had kings with no daughters with the same behaviour problem. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
SO please , someone tell CA to fix this sort of nonsense in the expansion: its one more good reason for a family tree system and more of a role for the daughters. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif

I can give you a tip for fixing this problem now.
It's called assassination. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif
..or a glorious *cough*suicide*cough* charge into the ranks of the enemy. Better to be remembered as foolishly brave then an incestuous pedophile..yek
Sounds like dead meat if a skilled inquisitor comes thru. Unfortunately, it's just this sort of loser deadbeat that ends up being my only viable heir at times...
The horror....the horror... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif

Really need to kill this idiot now, hes gone and got even worse. He became king by surviving stupidly well and now...
He has just gone and given two of his daughters the same name
Plus I'm kinda lacking in the replacement section - only 1 male heir available just now....but some are on the way.
Three more years then he launches a one man invasion of Ireland... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Historically speaking, this could be possible in the form of a badly made rumor. In that day and age, how could the peasantry know the age or preferences of the noble in question? A rumor can be just as bad as the real thing, no matter how implausible it seems to the properly informed.
This reminds me of a similar heir I had pre patch.I require you to take a leap of faith in believing me.
First off I attempeted an assasination in which he survived and gaine a vice or virtue which reduced his chance of being assinated.O well I thought, his loyalty is pretty low low lets hang the sod by using gisbourne the spy.Not only did I loose gisbourne he gained the spy net work vice making him harder to hang for treson.Hmm,starting to Pee me off a bit now so in gose the inquisition a few turns later.Apparently the result of the inquisition was that hes quite a pious chap and he gained a bit of piety. He was also brande a heritic which seemd odd a few turns later too.
Any way at some ponit he rebeled and took half my kingdom and a good portion of the troops I had ammassed for the final push on france.I had become obsessed wiv killing this guy and launched my kings army at him from wessex in to aqutane I think.Any way I won the battle but lost my king to a catapult and the game.I should of waited for the other heir to mature but I was so cock sure of winning:)

LOL Sounds like Boris the Blade - he just will not die
Saki - that is exactly why I use the heroic last charge method of heir grooming http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
The only proper way to end the life of your own men is to send them on the field of battle. Playing my first game, I hadn't quite figured out the importance of provincial governors. I rewarded men who did well in battle by appointing them governors. The I found out how acumen affects income from that province, after which acumen is the only criteria I use for appointing them. The problem was then how to make the incompetent old governors part with their title. The solution was the "Army of the Soon to be Fallen Lords". Every governor with less than 5 in acumen had to report for duty. The army consisted of 3 units of vikings, 1 of feudal men-at-arms and 11 units of royal knights. They don't do suicide battles but are constantly at war were the battle is thickest. They don't get reinforcements but sometimes when fighting alongside other units the units will get mixed after battle.
About half the lords are dead now but those surviving sure are experienced. I recently lost a royal knight (1 man unit) with 7 in valour (9 including the bonus from the general) while he was subduing some castle defenders in a major castle under a hail of arrows from all sides. Perhaps I'm being a little hard on these guys for a little more income.

Lol Cazbol, you do know you can strip titles by dropping an emissary on governers, right? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Doing the 'emissary drop' on a govenor drops loyalty though, right?
not by very much. If the governer is very loyal, the drop I've seen in loyalty from stripping titles is always negligable. If the governor's loyalty does drop low (2-3) put him under a loyal general - problem solved.

Ehm... I had no idea. I guess you just saved a lot of good men from certain death.
If they are down to so few units, just move the rest to another unit with rank and disband.
