Hey guys

Dunno if this subject has been in an earlier thread BUT

instead of only getting a pow count, it would be extremely cool if the gamer was able to watch the prisoners martching off to the rear.

And perhaps an after battle view of all the collected prisoners incl. generals and then decide what to do with them.
This could be done showing a small enemy unit returning to the battlefield with their proposal...

Added perhaps a small post battle diplomacy sequence, where an emmisary representing the loosing part negotiate the prisoners future with your general?

In RTW an extra possible faith for the prisoners could be added: "Include prisoners in circus activities"

Yeah - it could get repetative, but an option to turn it off and keep things the old way would solve that little concern.

My friend Bakdal:
Apart from your "circus" proposal another option could be to enlist the prisoners in special units.

Another is to use them as slaves - thus boosting work speed in the building process...

I don't know about you guys, but I just love pushing the "kill prisoners" button.

what i would like is be able to know how much ransom my prisnors will fetch and make a decsion wether i should kill them or ransom

Is it? I didn't think it was. At least, not when you use your king, and therefore "you", as your general. I'll have to check this out.

Sometimes when I'm really strapped for cash I'll go after someone's King or heir or high ranked general and try to get the ransom money.

If they deny me the 10,000 some odd Florins I go after someone else 'till I get some damn cash
