Trouble updating RTW Gold Edition

I just recentaly got back into rome and i dediced to try and mod it but turns out i have an older version (1.3) after doing a quick google search i installed the 1.5 patch but when i try to patch it it tells me that i have gold edition therefor i can't install this patch Please help me .

Hello Mazen, welcome to the .Org ~:wave: . Apologies for the slow response: I was unable to go on-line for a couple of days.

It's been a long time ago since I installed the patch, but IIRC there was a separate patch available for Gold as opposed to regular edition. If it was bundled with Barbarian Invasion, it requires patch 1.6, not 1.5.
