ATT: Mods

[Acronym]

I noticed the org has a strategy section for STW, but it's unfinished. Are there any plans to add a new one for medieval? I'm talking about battle tactics, explaining unit's strengths and weaknesses, manuevering, etc. I'm sure there's a lot of members willing to submit their strategies along with replays and screens, me being one of them. Or we could even use photoshop or whatever to simulate different battle situations, or to explain a battlefield strategy step by step(like an envelopment).

The point is to get mostly new comers into the game more. Maybe if they read all the guides and such and how to properly control their army we'll have better online gaming.

I was thinking that if everyone submitted their tactics and strats, then some of the mods could screen them then post them in the strategy section.

Nice thought. Hmm would be nice to sticky some of those threads dealing with strat as i guess we 'd want to view them often.

the table of contents (located at the top of the MH, in thread form) is probably what you're looking for.

Not really, I was talking about an outside-forum section, like the one for STW on the main page of the org. With pictures of battles, replays showing different tactics, and created plans in photoshop(ie drawing different army setups and showing possible manuevers and tactics). If the members were to submit there own tactics, replays, and pics then I'm sure the list would be quite big.

I thought Shades had a project going where it was intended to do a strat guide for each faction. No idea how that is progressing though

STW form had a "strategy" forum, MTW has a "Multiplayer" forum, would that be the best place to discuss all that?

I don't think he's asking for discussion. It's probably more in the lines of a database that has all the information in one place. The table of contents is nice but isn't that organized. It takes a lot of work. The Blizzard one is designed by a company employee who also has other duties.

keep in mind this a fan-based run website; the people who operate it also have jobs, school, and the like.
You might want to try asking the staff at the official MTW site to make one; until they do, the ToC is pretty much what we have for now.

Well, I've already taken a LOAD of screenshots to example SP battle techniques, now one of these days I'll get a web site up. Last time I worked on this I freaking forgot my password I HATE passwords.

Anyway, if time allows, I'll try and work on it some this weekend.

Anyone else working or have a site with Techniques for Battle, preferably for SP?
