I've been trying to get him into playing MTW, but he doesn't want to. His reasons are such classics like: "It's gay," "It's stupid," "It's retarded."

WTF STRONGHOLD? STRONGHOLD?

Of all the games I mean really, what self-respecting person actually enjoyed Stronghold? It was just another one of those stupid "Gather some food then go conquer the enemy's base with 5 guys and no tactics" games.

I highly advise anybody who enjoys Stronghold over MTW to go and kill themselves.

I play stronghold and I love it. I liked the first version more then the crusades.
The problem in crusades was, building armies, crushing the enemy, and then do the same think again and again...

I DO like defending castles, boiling oil etc.

MTW is a different game, but far better imho.

imho, this is in the wrong forum and is way OT. Anyway I have Stronghold and Silencer is right, it's a totally different game than MTW, and your friend is an idiot.

MTW is a game that could be played hundreds of times. The game is always different. Stronghold Crusader (I say crusader because is the one i have, not Stronghold) is a game for a pair of weeks or so, it's always the same, the same scenarios, the same process, the same tactics. MTW is more complex game, S.Crusader is a very simple game.

Ive got both and i looked forward to stronghold more and boy was i dissapointed.

whoever had the more guys wins, god damned rushing game.

if we incarnated two ancient warriors representing MTW and SH, SH would be a peasent with a pitch fork and MTW would be a kick ass hardcore colonial marine from aliens 2.

simply put if u enjoy SH more than MTW after playing both for more than an hour then go gouge ur eyes out.
