What do you think of the Uk box cover guys?

I will wager cash with anyone here on Aug 17th being the UK date even though it says ETA.

They have now got it on the main page for pre-order as of today and you can see the box art.

Interestingly enough, EA Store is displaying yet another "interpretation" of the cover. So, we now have three:

The EB cover for the Mongol Invasion expansion: Interesting... dark colors, and a Mongol sort of guy with a sword. Perhaps not as awe-inspiring as the original one, but I like it.

And the EA Store version of the Mongol Invasion cover: The same guy as before. But what is that thing on the right? A hole on the box? Maybe that is some packaging feature designed to look cool for the benefit of those three people who buy their games based on how the boxes look ( http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif ), like Half-Life's hinged "opening" box cover (don't know if you got that in the States).

Looked at the thing on the right and it's just a flat snow covered ground with the horses at the top galloping across the top end of it.

Silvery thing in the middle is some sort of shield??

Hello to you all, it has been awile for me to visit the forum and it is good to be back after such a long break.

To me the box could be a recycled shoe box and I wouldn`t much care. For me when I am playing the game the box gathers dust under my couch.

In Australia where I bought the game at that time we got the silver metalic samurai mask on the front. I think that the new designs will catch peoples attention more as they give a better message as to what the game is about.

yeah i hafta say the UK box stinks. We all get what we deserve, I guess....

anyway I'm not so keen of picking up the game so soon, maybe I'll wait a few weeks ( 2 or 3) just to see how it's going. I dunno bout the rest of you, but for me life has gone on and there are some things I'm in the middle of and want to get through.

UK expansion cover looks terrible; the Warlord Edition horseman looks better. But who cares its the game that matters. Actually the x-pack looks like the cover to some silly kid's fantasy game.
