Ok I just started as the Italians in my new campaign and have 1 daughter, I dont like marrying her into other factions, I dunno why but in any case I know you can marry them to your current generals, what exactly do they gain as far as loyalty, dread, command, religion go? Thanks

Try to marry them to your best generals.
You gain loyalty. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Just loyalty goes up?

I think so, but I'm not sure about that.

Your Loyalty doesn't go up. The General's loyalty to his King goes up. The result is the likelihood of Civl War is lessened; and in the even there is a Civil War, those generals will most likely be on your side.

I think thats what they meant, thank you for clearing that up though, so basically loyalty will go up 1 sheild?

Giving your daughter to a general saves you much time as well. He wont deny marrying here. This makes sure you dont have to look for a heir as well and neither will the general's father say no http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I always find that suing Princesses for Alliances with other Factions only works for a short while in a campaign before all the Princes's end up married.
Later I start marrying Princesses off to Governors first, then to the best Generals. It really helps with maintaining Loyalty (My empire/kingdom is just one big happy family, literally..:D). One idea is to keep a Princess or two in reserve for when you buy up Rebels, throwing a Princess into the deal really helps with encouraging loyalty...
When you marry your princess with your heirs or with you you adquire the incest vice. When this marriage have children (heirs), do they acquire the odd numbers of toes vice??.
And another question, Is there any method for introducing a very good general in your royal family??. Yes, you can marry him with a princess, but could he inherit the kingdom if he doesn't belong to HRE??

I don't know, but does a Prince actually get married if you drop a Princess on him, surely he just gets the Incest vice and the pricess disappears... Have not tested that though...
I assume you mean one of your own generals... I don't know, from what I read in the strategy guide, if you run out of hiers, then but have Generals of the blood, they may become king, but I have not seen that happen in the game...

Yes, if you aren't the HRE, you have no heirs, a royal general may be the next king. This is logic, a royal general was a heir in the past.
