I'm currently playing as the English, and just noticed that my King's army doesnt get any bigger at all even tho I'm building units like mad in that province..
So far I think I've lost track of 4 Longbow units (each 80men) and about 2 or 3 Crossbow units (also 80men per unit), anyone know what could be going wrong here..
/me calls Mulder just in case... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
THere is a post patch bug that happens to me on occassion where all my units that are not garrisoned disappear. They are not lost, they just are not shown. Whenever it happens I just hit esc and then resume game, and they show up again. Maybe this is what's happening to your guys.

Cheers m8...
The problem happend last nite just before I went to bed, so maybe once I get this slow pc started playing again all my units will be there...
I think for once I'll have plenty of Longbow and Crossbow units if thats really the case, ohh well they can be used to defend my far away outpost in Constantinoble.. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
This happened to me once post patch. I had a max # garrisoned in a citadel in Poland and the new troops I trained never showed up When I took my troops out of the citadel, the new units started to show up again.

Interesting bugs. Anyone else have the bug where units from ransomed armies can't be moved individually to other stacks/provinces on following turns? It's really odd since it only happens occasionally, and some units can be pulled out, but others are *stuck* in the ransomed pile for several turns. Sometimes, when you add a fragment unit to them, it gets stuck as well.

This leads me to ask a question i keep forgeting to ask.
Can you tell MTW to place newly trained units on the map, rather than garrison them automaticly in the Castle
After i finish building my units i have to check the Garrison and try and remember which ones i wanted in a mobile army.
Damn it's a pain

I have had that happen quite a few times; the length of time they stay "stuck" can be quite long...no idea what (if anything) governs this stickiness http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif
Drives me up the wall, but now I know it's not just me

Have any try to press "Z" for a few times. It's never happened to me and I really don't know what's wrong. Just happen to think of the new "Z" key feature (hide unit icon) that might be buggy.
