Is in my opinion too low.
Same heavily armed lancer and Royal knights have higher run speeds.

It's even so that clansmen and kern (and many other foot-troops)have the same run-speed as the gothic knights.

IMHO --> I would up de running speed to at least 14
(same for the Kataphraktoi), as the footsoldier should not run at the same speed as a horse in gallop.

Gothic knights:
march = 9
run = 12
charge = 16
armour = 9

Late Royal Knights:
march = 9
run = 20
charge = 22
armour = 9

Kataphraktoi:
march = 9
run = 12
charge =16
armour = 7

Lancers:
march = 9
run = 20
charge =22
armour = 9

Well, it seems that the Ghotic Knights are slow. I don't know if this is an historic feature, i only can say things like their horses are the heaviest, or the same about their armour. The weight could be an explication....

so a clansmen (unarmoured) should only be as fast as a goth heavily aroured wieghed down knight.

well sumhow i dont think so.

Teutonic knights:
march = 9

The horses of the teutonic knights are like a meteorite compare to these gothic turtles...

Really heavily armoured cavalry - ie with metallic horse armour - usualy only trotted into combat to preseerve their horses.

IMO the GK represent those knights whose horses were equipped with lots of plate armour - other knights used some chain but mainly leather, felt and other non-metallic armours.

Yes,agree,Gothic Knigths are static cavalry,not for movement way of playng,flank etc. I like to use them to stand by one sides of my front,they have very good defense,like spanish lancers.

Still there run speed should be a little bit higher.
And most medieval Knight horses were "heavy horses", full of muscles, not those used in the steppes. "Brabants trekpaard" was a very famous one, and used by many countries in the middle ages.
These horses are still in use in the forrests and agriculture in Belgium.

Here is a nice picture:

Still, I think there running speed should be higher, but faster fatigue when running.

Knights used usually very strong war horses, but these horses were very expansive (their price was actually one of the main causes of the knights decline). Considered that Gothic knights are cheaper than Lancer or Royal knights, they probably use different horses.
