Any mods for Shogun 2 or FOTS to make the armies more historically accurate in size?

So I enjoy FOTS how it is but something irks me that the size of the armies feel a little too big compared to the actual casualties for the Boshin war (8,000 along those lines I believe) and it seems that most of the historically accurate mods are most of the time cosmetic. It would be like making a RTS of the New Zealand wars and having casualties in the thousands.
