I'll go with the Papacy. not like I've ever modded so it's playable, but it's just cool anyway. Even if you couldn't directly control excomms and such, no one would be allowed to attack you without getting excommed. You'd only have to fight Arabs...and plus you're holy

I hate the French since I always seem to be at war with them every time I play, I'm going with the GH based on their cool Historical Campaign and their ability to throw the whole game into chaos at 1230.

The pope is always involved in every campaign so I pick them.

Not trying to be critical but, I was wondering how you distributed the groups into the rounds. This round has only 1 playable faction...unless I forgot this point. GH, Pope, Hungary, and Swiss are all non-standard, but your first group had 4 standard factions.

There really wasn't any order to what I did, I just typed them in as they came to my mind. The only thing I did do was to make sure the English, French and Italians were in seperate RD's.

Plus I figured that most people have downloaded or unlocked themselves the non-playable factions because it was fairly easy.

France. 1/ I'm a 90/100 frog, the remnants being swiss, italian & turks. 2/ The beginning of their campaign is a win/lose situation. You can't wait. Either you eat them, or they'll eat you. No danes sleeping in Scandinavia. Action.
