This is my unit wish list for the expansion:
1. Field obstacles, ie stakes, caltrops, abatis, etc. This is what protected the longbowmen and made them so effective, this is also what broke the Burgundian charge at Nicopolis.
2. War wagons
3. Lithuanian light cavalry, historically the Lithaunians threw their lances, so give em a unit that can do so like the jinetes.
4. War elephants. Timur used them. The year 1399 is just not what it should be in Anatolia and the middle east without Timur.
5. Deli cavalry. Light cavalry of Serbian descent used by the Ottomans
6. Serbian heavy cavalry. Changed the tide at Nicopolis, distinguished themselves at Ankara
7. Polish militia. Front rank armed with spear to fend off cavalry, rear ranks with crossbow. Yes I stole this idea from my DBM army list. Give the poor Polish a break, playing any faction after you play them is a breeze.
8. Chivalric Polish Retainer. Let the old retainer be available throughout the periods, and let the Polish upgrade their retainers in the later periods.
9. Kapikulu cavalry. Turkish heavy cavalry. Give them a lance and high charge bonus.
10. Naffatun. Cavalry used by the Mamlukes who spiked their lances with...naphta
Another thing I'd like to see is to have all armoured units both infantry and cavalry fatigue quicker in the desert. It seems at the moment only cavalry does so. I'd also let armoured cavalry from the middle-east be a little more resistant to the effects of the desert clime. They should be used to it, no?
