i have heard that you guys complain about the east bein controlled by the rebels. but i think that thats fun you can make little stories for yourselves like:
the eastern steppes are controled by barbarians and peasants, no laws, no order. its time that our holy empire takes the task of qonquering these fearsome people it will not be easy, the people there are endless and all will fight hard. but at the end we will sucseed, god will sucseed.
and then you raise an army and qonquer all of it.
another fun thing is that they are hard to controll. they rebel often and when they rebel they are often 5000peasants. and peasants are fun to kill with disipliined men of the west.
one thing that just happened to me: i played as the byz(same game as in the byz great victory thread) and i had been raiding the east so that i could support the armies in the south when 25 years later almost all the provinces rebeled back to me before that i had an armie of about 6000 men(i had been in war for a long time) and after i had 31000 though they are mostly peasants this is still in early and i had the largest army when i had 6000 so i can easaly outnumber all enemies. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif
