Can horse archers charge when they still have ammo

Is it possible to not fire the arrows when you order them to attack? I am using Boyars as the Novgorodians and I can't wait until they run out of ammo.

Yes, Hold down alt-and double click on the unit you want to attack. Or turn/change from skirmishing to hold formation or engage at will.
