Turcopoles are great

When I play a catholic faction I just assume I'm going to lose the source evntually and crank them out.

It just gets better if you can get a master horse breeder (v1) or get Antioch (v1 bonus v2 with master horse)

Yeah Turcopoles are quite fun, they are actually Turcomans with better defense and Morale but weaker attack.

I have actually used them online as the French. It was fun to have my opponent think I would show up with heavy infantry and knights when I came with knights and Turcopoles. A rude awakening

Oh, one thing: the Mongol horse archers are slightly better than the Mamluk once.
