Valor or Iron

Is weapon upgrade 1 or 2 or 3 better then valor plus 1? Trying to decide wether to build elite units in the Province with a bonus or in the province with the iron resource. (Building in one and training in another is not an option, too high on tech tree.)

no one can tell u what to do here, it all depends on how u want ur units to be like.

depends what you want. +1 valour gives a 1 attack and 1 defend and +2 morale bonus to your unit, while the metalsmith can give up to +3 attack.
so theoraticly the first gives you a nice balanced unit and the seconed gives you a buffed up shock unit.

But you could always use a code that gives all provinces iron (i only don't know what it was) but i does exists.

Train the troops in the province with the Valours, then move them to the province with the metalsmith and retrain them... then you have both. But remember to have the infrastructure needed.

Yep - build them with valour - you can always re-equip them with weapon and armour upgrades, but you can't do anythign with valour except get it the hard way

Knights of Santiago are givien a valour bonus in Leon, which also has iron deposits.

Oh, and Tuscany with Urban Militia, I think. Hmmm.... maybe that would be useful if it were Militia Seargents instead. I might have to mod that.

Thanks. I think I will go for the valor first and upgrade them at iron spots as best I can.
