What will VI need?

i hope they make a gold edditiong with both cds for like $50. My MTW CD is so scretched up that i have to use my laptop's dvd player to copy the files to the C drive, then have to send the files to my PC. All this just to install the game. And it's only been like 6 month

The Viking Invasion pack will be a single CD, and the expansion will not be available as a download, as was the case with Mongol Invasion in some parts of the world.

The decision to produce a "Gold Version" combining any two products into one special edition is usually a marketing one, and hasn't been taken yet (AFAIK) one way or another re Viking Invasion and Medieval: Total War.

VI needs much more needed muslim MAA.but i suppose i'll be concetrating more on conquering england than trying the new units for the original MTW.

Actually, you'll also get some cool new units for the original game, including some Islamic types.
