Hello everyone,

I have just added the second chapter to the History of the SPanish Empire, as played by myself and a friend of mine. For those who don't know, this is a game we are playing that we pass off to each other at the end of each King's Reign, and then we make a website detailing how things went. Should make for an interesting read Let me know what you think

I like it very much. Is very good to see in detail how other people play.

When I first entered this forum there was a heavy debate going on where most people said cavalry was crap in this game. As I answered then you are demonstrating here in detailed reports how decisive cavalry could be in MTW. A combitination of all arms is the best army.

I am much like the first king, like to progress step by step and have all my empire communicated and at hand. The long range attacks of the second king have been however very instructive to me. I will give more attention to crusades in my next games.

Please continue with the story.

Yes it was interesting to see how differently my friend played He did well though - one thing he didn't mention was how well he developed our trade network during all this while staying friends with everyone but the Egyptians. Needless to say we are rich, especially with provinces like Antioch giving us trade income too
