RTW and the expansion of MTW was announced almost at the same time ...

interesting to see what will hapened ...

will u buy MTW:VI or wait for RTW ?

I must admit that now, that I know that RTW will coming, I'm just waiting for RTW, nothing more ...

and you ?

Both. It does, however depend greatly on the monetary amount set for purchase of the game. STINGINESS

when the MI, STW exp, came out, I was a huge STW fan.
So, no problem/no discussion, I bought the exp.

but now, with MTW, things are different... I can't say that I am a MTW fan ... in fact, to be honest, for the moment it is off my HD ... mmm, I like it, but ... mmm ...

I'm waiting for VI. My anticipation isn't very high for games whose releases are still far off. I check for VI news far more often than RTW. In fact, I'm not going to check for much RTW news until after I've plated VI.

I am looking forward to both, if just to see the technical advances, units & factions, etc in RTW, and the bug corrections, new units, etc in MTW.

I'm waiting now for Viking Invasions. This game will be released in May and RTW will be released probably in late 2003 or the next year...i'll buy Viking in May, i play with it this year, and in December i'll buy a new graphics card and i'll prepare for RTW.

I agree with that, after the patch, there still were many bugs in MTW. I hope that the expansion will correct all the bugs...

A bit optimistic, isn`t it ?? Let`s hope it won`t add to much new bugs.
So, I wait for VI at the moment but RTW is of course the bigger thing.

Sadly, this is why I won't be buying Vikings Invasion. Thirty bucks is too much to pay for a patch. Yeah, I know there are new units, etc, but there is also the probability of new bugs that won't be fixed, as they weren't for MTW. I'd be standing in line for VI, if there had been more support. I do hope that VI will be worth the expense. Just waiting to be convinced.

I've said this before, i like Paradox games because they release patches until most of the bugs have been corrected. Europa Universalis II has six patches. Hearts of iron has four patches. They are working now in two more patches for both games. MTW has only one pacth...

I´m waiting for both. And I will buy both.
But I´m waiting much more for my new mainboard to come back, because I had to make use of my guarantee, because it was defective.
