Strange battle in Cyrenacia...

Strange thing happened to me, was wondering if anything like it has happened to any of you:

I am the HRE and take Egypt from rebels. I lose Egypt about 75 years later to Almohads, and then a revolt of Loyalists appears and I get Egypt back. I then attack Cyrenacia with about 1,500 men and take it from the Almohads. The Almohads counter-attack and I lose, but my 856 survivors get "stuck" in limbo between Cyrenacia and Egypt. I can't move them anywhere, the stack shows up in Cyrenacia, but the training button says they are in Egypt.
About 25 years later I attack Cyrenacia with about 300 men from Tunisia (the province to the West of Cyrenacia) and the pre-battle screen says:

Cyrenacia invaded
They are allied with you and should help you in this battle.
Your forces 1133
Allied forces -856 (negative 856&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Enemy forces 0

I auto-calc and get:
enemy killed -470 (negative again&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
men lost 110

Next turn my "limbo" stack shows up in Egypt, along with the survivors of my attacking stack Strange, strange...

Oh, yeah, the Almohads gained the province even though they had no troops there

I had something like that with Spanish in Tunisia I think. fighting Almos as well.

CA has a peculiar bug fixing strategy. In the patch, they added several new bugs that laid eggs in the heads of the earlier bugs which then hatched, but now infest the game much like what occurred earlier.

Same thing happened me pre-patch.sicillians v almohads/egypitans.took then bout twenty yrs later lost tunisia from the almohads tothe egyptians. a bloody huge army was caught in limbo and costing me buckets of florins.i invaded with a group of peasants,( for the laugh) and it said the egyptians retreated. My army then took off their turbans and revealed themselves to be christian....talk about a covert army

Well, another thing that happened to me twice: an army dissapeared, and each time I clicked on it on the "Armies panel", the game crashed ...
