An addition I would like to see is the troubadour - similar to emissaries.
Troubadours were, in general, not wandering minstrls, but often of high social position, kings, lords etc.. Some of them even included individuals of lower social standing like the sons of tradepeople. The fame of Richard 1st, was spread by troubadours who spun ballads lauding his exploits in battle. I think they neglected the part about him executing 4000+ muslim hostages in Acre after Saladin proved slow in providing the ransom. lol.
Their role in MTW however would be ancient spin doctors. Their presence in a province, depending upon their skill, would inspire confidence in their patron. Rival kings would be more willing to do alliances or offer princess to the troubadour's ruler.
