Scenic Tour

I have seen this mentioned in the manual but I'll be damned if I know what it refers to.

Can someone enlighten me?

The scenic tour is a Single Player Campaign doodab, and it's what happens when you press "End Turn" and the camera moves about the strategy map, following pieces going from one region to another.
