We recruit new mods as and when we feel there are vacancies, and dependent on whther or not we need them. When new mods are needed likely candidates are discussed by the staff, admin make the final decisions and approach those who are chosen to see if they want the job. Not everyone does. needless to say in general it's people who have been around a little while so they're used to the community and we can see that they'll make a valuable contribution. So in answer to your question yes. We were all normal once...
