New patch: should marriage be...

Sometimes I'm very caught up with fighting wars and I dont have time to arrange marriages for my daughters and heirs. I dont like to see my daughters become spinsters or my heirs marry some non-royal woman.

I would really like an option to be added in the next patch that allows the computer to automaticly arrange marriages. This would save a bunch of time as you won't have to spend time researching which woman/heir suits your children.

This option should be controlled in a way that at all times, it tries to get the best marriage.

What's your thoughts about this?

thats not a bad idea, but i fear we may have to wait for the expansion pack

ive actually aranged marriges for all my daughters and sons in my latest campagin so far... quite tough considering my kings produce about 8 children each

8 is sort of little, I have had 1 king that produced 7 sons and 6 daughters

Thats why I play Muslim factions. I'm tired of wasting hours courting kings.

There arent many advantages to marrying kings and marrying of daughters other than the obvious reason of aliances. Marrying is the strongest tyrpe of aliance. In expert it can be quite important for keepin troublesome neigbors at bay. Apart from this u dont really get any advantages. There are a few disadvantages if u marry to some factions that have a history of inbreds
