Anyone got backup files?

Does anyone have the unmodifiead (none of the mods) versions of the early high and late periods that can be found in the startops folder (I have the patch), im getting a bit pissed off at waiting 3 minutes for the mods to load every time I start a new game

I haven't played any of the mods so I can't help you there. If you didn't make a backup of the files being mod-ed, perhaps your best bet is to uninstall and then re-install the game and the patch.

Maybe someone here does have a backup of the files to send you. They'll have to chime in though.

ive got all my original ones still, that is post patched files, and im sure a lot of other people have them as well, all it should take is one nice person to email them to you

There is no reason to request backup files if you have an original unpirated game. Just reinstall the game.

Jeez man I ask for a bloody backup file because i loaded too many mods for my comp to handle and suddenly you accuse me of being a pirate, well man id like to inform you that i own a perfectly legaly bought copy which i purchased the day it came out because im a big fan of the series and i own shogun too Maybe you should condsider the possibility that I wasnt bothered reinstalling the entire game just for 3 bloody text files Ever think of that
Some ppl just seem to get kicks out of being rude on an internet forum.

The org is no place for piracy. It's also no place for accusitions or wordfights.

I fail to see how someone could be called a pirate by asking 3 textfiles. You'll find more than just 3 in the downloadsection.

If someone asks for a CD-key, something that might be a bit suspicious, then we just redirect him/her to Activisions tech support. No need to attack.

http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/MTW/Stats/Tosa_Inu_FactSel.zip offers the 3 default textfiles too, as well as custom ones to play any of the factions.
