I have some Multiplayer trouble

I was looking forward to trying out multiplayer tonight, setting up gamespy and everything, when I was going to start the game. I was prompted for my CD key, I had no idea that a Cd-key even existed before that, since I could install the game without it(if I remember correctly that is). I needed the manual to recover it .. Dont ask me why they decide to put the CD-key in the one compononent of a computer game that is dead-easy to loose. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

I wonder if anyone knows if there is a way to recover the CD key without buying a new game or finding the long gone manual? (If you saw the place I live, you would give up on finding it too) Just posting here to see if anyone here might have an idea..

i dont know about anyone else, but my CD-key is located in the CD case, under the 2nd CD, take a look there

Activision will NOT replace any lost manuals or Cd-keys, I got that Email from them today.
