The new Total War game?

Hi Everyone,

With the new game under development, and after it is released, do you think that CA/Activision will stop supporting/enhancing/patching MTW?

I do not think they will release any other patch for MTW. Maybe if the Expansion Pack arrives they will release a patch for that, but not just for MTW.

But as it seems now, they have abandoned project MTW, and are working at Roma. Hence I do not think any MTW related patch will arrive. Perhaps if the glorious community will make a unit balancing patch we will be lucky. But there a few more units than in shoggy, so it is quite a task.

In conclusion, no patch for mtw (only if expansion arrives)

The same will happen as with Shogun, just not as much, those who can't run the new one will stay with MTW, those who can will probably move to the other one.

Hey, when I ever get bored of Roman hordes swarming down a hill and funny looking barbarians being slaughtered, I will always turn back to Old Faithful: MTW. (even without the patch)
