I know unit have a per turn fee but do buildings?

And no, I really don't think that buildings have a fee needed to sustain them. No mention of this is made anywhere.

Buld all you like It costs nothing but money and time Oh hang on, there seems to be some flaw with that analogy...

only units have an upkeep cost, this is easily proved by clicking on the money button on the left hand side of the campaign map, it gives a list of provinces with the income and expenses for each province. If you add up the upkeep cost of the units in one province, preferably a province with only 1 or 2 units in it should agree with the expense for that province.

I hear you on that. I got my daughter hooked on all the games I play. At first I thought it was cool, then it got real annoying as she was playing my games on my time. Then it got really ugly when she started getting better at them than me. Thats when I decided my little angel HAD to get her own computer.
