Quote[/b] ]Publisher Activision and developer Creative Assembly have been quiet about their new installment for the Total War RTS series. Rumor had it that the 3rd edition was going to be set in the Roman Empire period but no comments were given by either parties, either way the cat is out of the bag as the new trailer clearly shows the rumor is true. Read more for download links to check some cinematic action of this upcoming beauty.

Anyone know if this movie is ingame engine or an enhanced engine made just for cutscenes?

This movie looks like it could be ingame cept for the generals of both sides with their articulate faces and the normal models look to have higher quality texturing compared to some screenshots I've seen.

Hey, just out of curiosity, does anyone remember the length of time between the Intro movies being available and the game arriving for the other games in the Total War series? I know it means very little in terms of how long it takes a game to go gold after the production of the teaser movie, but it might provide a little peace to this now over-anxious heart.

Very nice Thanks

I guess that's still an early version, but very cool to see. I think that now RTW is no longer a speculation...and that's for sure.
