This might have been a thread before I came to the Guild but here goes. Does anyone know if there is a list or something out there that lists the Command, Piety, Accumen and Dread for each of the scrolls? It would be nice to look at a sheet and plan your assaults on provences using this stragety http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/shock.gif

I'm not aware of any such list. It would be nice to have, but I'm not sure I'd base my campaign strategy around the title bonuses.
BTW, you only gave people two hours to respond Have more faith This forum has been extremely busy lately and it isn't taking very long for topics to drop to the second page and out of most people's minds. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

I have never seen a listing of seperate listing of the title attribute bonuses , but you can view the values of each in the early startpos file.
Your plan is certainly unique, I've never heard of anyone considering the title attributes as component of their strategy. I think you will find that there is very little to differentiate governor attribute bonuses everywhere with the exception of the factions home province which is usually slighly better.
I dissagre, some provinces like Constantinople and Tribizond give a 2 star bonus to command With this and a good additional title from a government building I've turned good 4 start generals into 8 star monsters http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Exactly Greeny The idea is that I would probably hold on to the best titles for the respective provences until I get a general with
A) High starting Command
&
B) Expert Attacker Virtue at least
I figure that with the Titles of Office like Commander of the Fleets and Master of the Kings Stables and the like I could get some really awesome war Generals. Not to mention I get (hopefully) some high command Princes or something.....could be a hell of an army when you think about it. Hehehehhehe......Bring it on http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/idea.gif

I tend to like to spread my titles out.
Instead of having 1 or 2 7-8 star killing machines, i prefer having 3 to 5 5-6 star.
That way, you don't have a perticular weak side and you can do an all in one round blitz from more than one provence. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif And also gives the general space for advancment.
True, but in my current game I've got about 5 4-5* princes who can fill this role (playing as the Byzentines) while my two Uber Generals are each assigned a front at the head of huge armys. (Asia Minor is a very narrow front so this is useful ATM I'm up aginst large armies of Egyptians, Mongols and Re-emerged Turks so my 8* with good attacker virtue is mighty useful.)

Hmmm....there are two schools of thought. And good points also, well done.
If you were to use one or a few of your heirs and got them high command rating and their troops enough experiance for a high valour, then a new royal line were to take over. You would then have 2 or 3 Princes who are not in direct line for the throne and they are immortal. (There can be only One!http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif After they are out of direct link to the throne you can bestow titles of state on them, since now they are Regular generals.
