Greetings from the noobie on the board.

I have a question regarding princesses. It being so difficult to get foreign kings to cough up a daugter for one of your sons to wed, does it not make sense that she should marry the crown prince? When I finally get an agreement to wed one of the pretty ladies to one of my sons she seems just as likely to end up with a guy who is far down the list.

Has the patch addressed this? I have not had it installed long enough to make a determination for myself.

I don't think anyone has figured out why certain princesses end up with certain princes. But then, who can understand love? I think he means when Foreign princesses marry your sons, not marrying your own children together. I've noticed that myself when you get a acceptance of a proposal to a princess she doesn't end up marrying the heir to the throne which is annoying. You should be able to pick.

MacGregor has it right, foreign princess, domestic prince. (insert you own domesticity joke here)

If I were in charge, (and I'm the King, damnit) no younger son wold be allowed to marry until his big brother had married (sort of The Taming of the Shrew in reverse) It is tough enough to arrange one marriage, let alone five or six.

The best way is to, take care of business, and marry your prince as soon as he comes of age. Then there's no question.
