Just a thought here...
if you enter www.medievaltotalwar.com in your browser, you are directed towards activision.com.
So i tried with rometotalwar.com and the page doesn't exist. So I checked and i discovered that the name www.rometotalwar.com was free.
Wouldn't you think that guys at CA would cover their back here? Seems odd to me if Rome: Total War was for sure their next game and the trailer would tend to prove this.
Just a thought, really...
Hey, we could get the website and, if they want it, they would have to buy it from us However, i do believe they would just make a different site.

Yeah, they would just make a different site for sure.
Anyway, I just meant to bring new arguments for the No Such Rome Total War conpiracy theorists. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Even if I can't say I'm opposed to it. It's quite the contrary indeed.

Muneyoshi: Tell us something new... (just playin)
Considering that PC Gamer will have a bunch of information and will be out soon... and CA is expected to probably say something after that, it is almost a given (and been known for a while).

http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif Hiya JeromeGrasdyke. 'Tis an honour to have another CA person visit our forums. We love information here...information like stuff about new TW games under development. Any tidbits you can toss our way would be greatly appreciated (an understatement).
BTW, if you need any opinions, just ask. But brace yourself first http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif

Hi all, and thanks for the warm welcome http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Things should be clarifying themselves in the next few days... I don't know if there are any Swedish TW fans on the board, but you might want to ask them to get ahold of the new Swedish PC Gamer out today http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Exactly el. Note Jerome's first post: Thanks for the tip. The next post Catline tells us the URL goes to TW.com. I don't think that was coincidence. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Just a friendly tip, its not normally a good idea to resurrect a topic thats been lying dormant for over 6 years.
Rome: Total War should have the direct X files on the disc, or with the download if you have purchased it. All games carry all software needed to run them.
Hello Leigh,
As far as I know, Rome plays fine on DX 9.0C. You can grab DX from Microsofts site. I'll post a direct URL for you in a sec. brb.

This has to be a record for thread necromancy. Frankly, I'm awed.
Holy kabobs! This is hillarious. I did not even realise it was that long ago! :P
Leigh is this (http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/necromancer.htm) type of forum warrior.

Welcome to the Org, Leigh.
by this date, if there still is no www.rometotalwar.com website, i don't think CA will take that slot at all, what with there being a M2TW and Empire TW already. but i don't care if they do or don't care about this website--i'm too happily busy (and enjoying greatly) my latest EB version (and in the meantime succeeded in keeping my older EB 1.1 version in the same computer). again, Hawooh.
