View Full Version : The Danes and crossbows
The TotalWarAssembly site says the Danes can train crossbowmen and nowhere says I cannot (AFAIK) but of course When I build the Bowers Workshop there is nothing and when I bring up the BW description it doesnt list anything in the section that shows what units the building lets you train?
Can I build crossbows with the danes?
Am I insane?http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/argue.gif

Hint http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif : What time period are crossbowmen supposed to be available in?
Oh geeez how embarrasing http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
Oh and guess what happened last night. My HDD developed a bad sector right in the total war directory right on ... my savegame http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif Needed to reinstall too as there wa a corrupt sound file too.

Too many New South Welshmen here... time to add a sensible Victorian to this forum in an efort to counter the sideffects of so many Sydney-ites... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

We have a double Welcomes go out to Surg3on and Elwe (the Eldar king?). Thanks for joining the fray, er, forums.
Surg3on, it could be worse. I've had a nasty tendency to develop bad sectors in critical places like the master boot record or over both FAT files. Both cases are virtually unrecoverable, i.e. everything on my HD was trashed. And both situations had happened to me. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Correct, Gregoshi... Lord of Doriath.
