Questions not in order of importance:

When setting up waypoints for a units in battle, can the last setting be an attack command?

In the prebattle setup, when placing a unit in a forest, should the tree icon show up on the info card to tell you that it is properly hidden? I don't automatically see it right away. Is it not hidden in this case?

Im telling a unit to attack. Click vs. Doubleclick? I know that Dblclick means run and causes fatique, but if close enough, wouldn't I want to do this for shock value, or does the unit pick up speed at the last moment in a single click charge?

Is there a lot of value in the preset custom formations, or do most set up their own troops?

Greatings Terry, Ill try to answer all your questions now.
1. Yes the last command can be an attack comand
2.Yes you should see the tree icon, but give your troops some time to align in the forrest before juding if they are hiden or not, if the treeicon does not show you are not hiden.,
3.You should dobblekicj when you are close however some units charge at the last moment anyway.
4.I dont really understand that question, if you are talking about tight, close and wedge ()wich i think you are not) then Yes they are very usefull, as for the preset group formation, i conmsider them usless an deploy may troops exactly as i Want to.

4) Terry, I think you are refering to the pre-battle formations the attacker can use, correct? Most people don't use them from what I gather, but I know a lot of people would like to create their own to use.

4. Just remember that when you are on the defence, you can set up your troops any ay you want, but when you are attacking, you only have the preset formations to chose from.

Those preset formations are quite meaningless if you are the attacer (wich is the only case in wich ull use them) you are not stressed to have your formation ready at the start of the battle but cacn instead position your troops after the start of the battle to strike the defender correctly. Still I usualy select Scorpton beacause its the way I usualy play, grunts in the middle and flank with cavalry + having some supporting cavalry at the end to send where its needed)

Thank you all for the imput. I usually take the guide and manual to work and look at them during break. The back pages of the manual are full of scribbled notes and questions. Most of these I find answers for here before I post on the board...
