X-Pack Question

What is the X-Pack? How do you get it? And how does it effect SP mode?

The expansion also known as the "X-Pack" refers to the Mongol Invasion Expansion. This expansion fixes bugs, adds new units, features, etc. I would need hours to list all the changes so I suggest you read a few other threads.

Since you live in the USA, in order to purchase just the expansion you will have to order it directly from www.eastore.ea.com. (http://www.eastore.ea.com.) You also have the option of buying the Warlord Edition which is in stores, but includes both the original game and the expansion and costs $20 more.

The game changes quite a bit between the two versions, with the xpack being better. However, you will find out if you like STW with the original and if you do, the xpack is worth your time. If you get too much experience with the original, then you will have things to unlearn when you do get the xpack.
