well I'm not a techie however I have had similiar (and worse at times)problems with same operating system which stemmed from using wmp. I reccomend to not use it b4 and during running sensitive programs such as games and downloads(especially filesharing programs, which will multiply the problem especially Imesh).
If you do find a fix for it please post however so far that has been my remedy for it.

well i found the problem

(im the aww bugger it author btw)

my geforce 2 was only using 32mg of its possible 64mb

go to control panel, display, settings, advanced, (then ur graphics card label), then advanced setup and look around till u see direct 3d settings and limmit the mg from 32 to roughly 15-20 mg

be warned lowering it beyond 20 may cause smoothing problems with other games but usualy that only happens if u go to 8mg.


so theres my solution.
