move army in boats

how do i move my army using boats???

You need to have a trade route, that means ships in every sea area you have to pass and without any blockading enemy ships, and a port in the starting province. By pressing v you can see your trade routes (the green areas) and blockades (red areas).

Just have a chain of ships from your Home providence to the Providence you wanna attack. You dont actaully place them on ships its all automatic.

It would also help to have a port in your destination province, so you can move your troops back out if you wish.
