View Full Version : How do I get into a clan
First, hello fellow warriors. I'm new to this community. The thing is I just registered at EA-Play to play online but didn't want to open a new clan, to join an existing one I need a password...hope anyone can help...thx
Btw, I'm talking about STW...
Just type in any name for the clan name. No one will check whether it is an existing clan or not.
Oh yes, and welcome to the ORG http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif
Do not forget to visit the Table of Contents (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=2273) http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
well, I typed in Usuegi (just for fun) and it is an existing clan but I needed a password to enter it. and so it is with every existing clan, where do I get those passwords from and which clan is best for beginners? I bet somewhere on that website I could find the answers but I didn't...thank you anyway

its just a name, it doesn't matter. In other words, you can type in your name, and then just make up a name of the clan and you will be the only member.
Just because Uesegi is taken doesn't even mean it is an active clan and I doubt you will find the password for it. That name was probably taken on the 2nd day the game could be played online. As far as I know, there never was an active STW clan called Uesegi and the person who typed that in probably just did it to get through the registration process more quickly.
Most clans won't just let you join and they definetly won't give out their passwords. If it really means that much to you, then register your name and be the only member of your clan, then network online and in the forums to find yourself a willing clan...then you just change your name again.
I have always been Ronin and I don't even remember the name of the Clan I used to register, let alone the password http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Hi raskolnikov.
As mayor said the clan is not a problem. Just create new one and play online. Then u can meet ppl there and join some other clans which have many members in (then u will need the famous password).
Btw, many time no playing STW online (cant remember where i put my cd or if i borrow it to my brother in law (he says no) grrrrrrr http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif ), is many ppl still there?
I miss many of them who not on MTW
Thank you Major. @Aleborg, I just like Dostjewski.

I think the spirit of joinin a clan must be to join some very close group of friend, with same passion, not only for play on-line.This give you spirit of team, let you be glad of all victory of your clan, feel your allied generals like brothers (and maybe sisters http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ),in the same family. This make the difference about an old clan and new and temporary clans http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
So pay attention on joinin Clan

most effective would be to ask in the barracks, or look at the threads, clans are recruiting from time to time.
Or simply form your own http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Or hang around in the foyer and ask ppl wiht clan tags...
