Have a good computer too. Its hell on them when you have huge armies also armies cost more and take longer to build.

I prefer large armies (166%) because huge (200%) ones take longer to build. With large armies, you`ve still the normal building times but quiet some hordes on the field http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
