Hi max_killer_payne, welcome to our community. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif You'll find that the Alhomads are a pesky agressive faction. Early in the campaign they can be especially tough. Beware the Alhomad militiamen, they are very tough in the early period of the game. Sounds like you have stirred the hornet's nest in your campaign. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Don't understand your question here: You are at war, you attack them, they attack you, what else can you expect http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
If they have the possibilty to attack you in seven places at once, by all menas they should use it, as I would use it to kill my agressor. Good Luck with the war http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif

Almohads are far too strong, the game is a little unbalanced.
You need to move early against them to stand a chance.

You need a Keep in a coastal province to build a port and shipwright to build ships of your own. You transport armies by just having a line of ships in the sea sections that lead from your lands to where you want them to attack. Any enemy ships in those sea sections will blockade you. Any of your ships will blockade ships belonging to your enemies. If you have no navy, you are behind the eightball already, and must catch up. It is of course better to have a navy in place before you start making war against a faction that has a navy itself. You have some serious catching up to do. Good luck. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
lol Payne
if the spanish are dead then i can concentrate on the heretics....(muslims)
this is a bonus, no excomm and loads of battles
omg the byzats and turks never knew what hit em http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
They have been annoying ever since Pre Patch. Now they always seem to get womped by the spanish.

I totally agree with SmokWawelski. you attack someone , they decide to wipe you out of the face of the earth ...its completely natural.
Some people say the almos are too hard post patch , well to my experience its not the case , especially during my current 'english' campaign i didnt even have a chance to fight them , the spanish wiped em out completely in a few decades after the beginning of the game ( one would expect this to be impossible in early )

AFAIK, the winner of Spanish/Almo is a tough opponent. Usually.
In my last campaign(French, early, hard), though, they made a draw. In 1190, while I just had been excommed, I ate the Spanish. And the Almos were still sticked to 5 provinces : Granada, Cordoba, and N Africa. Never saw that before, but it made the whole game far easier, as the almos had 5 ports for me exporting goods, and were no match for me at this time(I had all today's France, British islands, Scandinavia, N. Spain & W. germany). So they were the last to be cleaned up... Very different from the usual approach, wich is kill the winner before he kills you
Cool : every game is different.

In your case, I suspect, you had left yourself exposed to a naval invasion... If you don't have a fleet whereas your opponent (Almokhads) does, you're a toast unless you have sufficient armies garrizoning the provinces exposed to your enemies fleets.
As to Almokhads: I don't find the AI Almokhad tought at all. The main mistake made by the AI Almokhad players I see is that they DO NOT BUILD Almokhad urban milita units... And the ones they build are usually not built in Granada... I wonder if other players have noticed this. It's something that should be easily fixed with a little twiching of the game code (like, why, the heck the AI builds tons of urban milita that get easily defeated if it's almost as easy to build AUM's)...
