Howdies,
Read quite a few posts suggesting using inquisitor's to improve the peity rating of the faction leader and his generals. Don't know if anyone has noticed it: but inquisitions appear to have an undesired side effect... The king/general on trial is likely to obtain a heretic V&V after the first inquisition (I guess, the royal fella lost his faith in the almighty after such an unjust accusation)... From then on, the peity rating does go up with repeated inquisitions, but the heretic V&V stays and is likely to perpetuate itself in the heirs. And this does not sound like a desired trait. Any comments?
BTW, I have noticed it work on AI generals as well. Pick a reasonable peity AI general and send an inquisitor after him. Even though the chance of burning the target is 0% in the first trial, the target is likely to have become a heretic when you bring the flames back to him the year after... I heard someone here has been burning Popes this way.
