As I can't post to the dungeon where the thread about the mod is, I'll post the bug report here.

The mod works fine othwerwise but have wierd problem in the Early campaign - No troops / buildings appear on the map at the start, just the king for each faction. Other campaigns work fine so I'd think I have installed the mod properly.

Using original MTW, patched to 1.1.

If someone would post this bug report to the appropriate thread in the dungeon..

Otherwise the mod looks great so far.

Haven't been following this game for awhile (released buggy I hear, was waiting for price drop & patches) untill picked it up this week so I'd have a few questions: Is this *the* mod to install ? Or is there some other which is considered the ultimate SP experience ?

Greetings kinkkupa. Thanks for joining and trying out a mod here at the Org.

I posted your comments in the appropriate thread (thanks for the link).

As for *the* mod to install, I can't help you. I'd just like to be able to play the un-modded game enough to get a full experience. Which sometimes seems like it will never happen. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif I'm sure someone else will provide some comments about the mods.

Hi Kink, seen Mario lately? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/joker.gif ...sorry.

I checked my files, and found out what was wrong. I forgot to include the latest version of the files in the zip. I posted it right before I went to bed due to a bad headache, and I forgot to copy the text files I had altered for this version from the game folders to the mod folders. I am glad you posted this before any more damage was done. I have just uploaded a corrected version to my webpage. It also includes some corrections I made to the spreadsheet a few days ago, and correct instructions for using Winzip (which you won't need).

Btw, Greg, I sent in the buggy version to you guys for posting in the download section, so if you could make sure that is discarded I would really appreciate it.
This corrected version will be labeled 1.41, and I will send it in to you guys momentarily.
If you would do me another favor, please pass it along that I would like for its title in the download section to be For God and Country v1.41, the author WesW.
That name, and Medieval series, are what I am known by from my previous works, which date back over three years now. I know that some of the early mods for this game were simply labeled Medieval Mod I, II, etc., and even if the name had not already been taken, I guess I would feel uncomfortable by having my stuff posted as The Medieval Mod IV, like I was publicly declaring that it was THE mod or something.

Btw, just between you and me, Kink, I think that it *is* THE mod now, at least IMO. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
And if you, or anyone, has suggestions for improvement, I am always happy to discuss them, and I often implement things based upon feedback I get.
