Scotland mod?

Hello everyone,
I have been a player of shogun since it came out, and was very happy with my new copy of medieval.
However, i would very much like to play as the Scots and attempt a takeover of europe or perhaps even just a points campaign.
intitial questions:
Can someone make this mod?
can someone perhaps look into it and tell me, a computer dumbo, how to make it from scratch?
Is it possible to make a grand feats(?) or points campaign as well?
can the flags be changed?
Can any new highlands units be made?
Scottish crusades? lol
if anyone likes this idea, or can tell me how to make it, please post it here in detail, hopefully i have opened up some interest for the poor Scots.

There are loads of people with interest in playing the Scots on the forum and I am sure they will all get in touch. Did you know that the Scots will be in the Viking Invasion expansion for MTW ?

4.yes the flags can be changed.
5.yes new units can be made (lord krazy is making loads)
6.scottish crusades lol, it can be done by allowing the new scots faction to build chapter houses.

I did a quick mod a while ago, I just made Hungary playable, then I took away Croatia, Hungary and Carpathia? and gave them Scotland. It was alright but got quite frustrating after awhile as Scotland is hostile to foriegn powers. It turned out quite realistic though as i was able to take Northumbria and Mercia, but I was unable to take Wessex without a rebellion in the North.

You can reduce scotlands rebellious tendancies http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif that should solve any prob with rebellions, also give them some trade goods like wool and stuff.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for the replys, I was stunned when i saw all the people in here wanting a Scots mod, thats great It will be fun kicking English butt, every time i fight the scots with my English armies i feel terrible lol
Apparently some of my ancestors were Picts, but from the info i have seen on them they were a scary bunch no doubt that is why i got the great picture here, IRL i wax the mo i promise http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I am looking forward to the mod pack, will love to check out every detail it supplys, i really should get into this modding business a bit, wish i had more spare time.
btw, im not a Scot, im Aussie, but most of the ancestors were from Scotland and the rest were French, what a mix
