I've not seen this one documented, so I'll add it. You could classify it as a strategic cheat that the human can use. I've noticed that if I save and have some low loyalty provinces, the loyalty is usually higher than it should be for that turn when I load the save later. Seems to be some sort of problem with the game forgetting some historical piece of info that would lower the loyalty of a province for a turn. It appears to be back to normal mechanics on all subsequent moves. I try to avoid this cheat, but alas I can't play the game 24/7 so I have to save and reload now and again. I haven't tried to quantify it or pin it to particular events, but I could spend some time doing so if the developers wanted/needed the info... Might be something related to the distance to the king routing or such.

I can't say I recall this problem being mentioned before. Can you do a before and after screenshot?

I know there was a problem with the spacebar green/yellow/red display not being updated correctly but I'm sure that was corrected with patch. Do you have the patch installed?

I haven't got a screenie. I'll have to try recreating it on purpose, shouldn't be too hard because it has been fairly consistent.

Forgot to add, yes, I have the patch installed.

Bumping this one back up. I took a quick look again in my Italian campaign. Found that if I take a look at loyalty, then save, exit, and reload, the loyalty is higher than it should be that first turn after reload (at least in some provinces, didn't check them all.) So a cheesy tactic would be to save and reload each turn to boost loyalty in various low loyalty provinces... Looks like the AI is forgetting to modify loyalty for some event in the saves.

Hey Red, why don't you put it in the Cheesy tactics thread in the Main Hall?
