I've been watching the thread regarding the Campaign Map editor project and just wanted to tell Wellington that his efforts are doubtless appreciated by many lurkers. I, for one, eagerly anticipate your work's success.

If someone could bump this to the Dungeon I'd be most appreciative.

I probably won't be able to contribute as much as I'd like, but suffice to say, MTW is an excellent game. My mod plan is to create something along the lines of Alexander: Total War

I'm sure you can imagine how much I'm looking forward to Rome:Tw then... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif The map might conceivably be large enough to render my project unnecessary -- though I doubt that CA will be letting our legions go as far as the Indus.

I might cook up some After action reports. I'm currently enjoying a hairy game as Italy. I'm letting myself trade, but with the house rule No attacking your Christian brethren including Orthodox. You find out some interesting things looking for colonies and conquess in the middle east instead -- like how RICH Khazar is. :>

Should be an interesting AAR. Especially given that my current Doge is one of those strange inbred perverts with maximum piety.
