I've noticed that the richer provinces in the game - Sweden, Flanders, Constantinople, etc. can virtually finance an army on their own with decent trade and govenors. I try to 'strategically' take these provinces at my earliest opportunity, then build them up th finance the 'big push' of expansion.
Whats the richest province of them all? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Well im not 100% sure on this but im pretty sure that ther is no one province which is superior to the rest thats so one nation does not become uber because of it, they want you to stratigicly capture the good provinces. Although venice is a good province if you get a smart gov there and you up the farming and mechant to max while having a trade rout to every port on the map.... http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif

I think the second province above palistine (forgot the name a.. someting ) is the richest trading province. i once got 4000 from trade alone.
For farmland, i don't know Flanders or Constantinopel I gues.

Antioch is the most valuable trade provence. I don't know if Constantinople's farming could give it the lead... but they would be neck and neck.
