knights templar

knights templar don't have as good a charge as the other crusader knights, but otherwise equal stats, so they are not as good right?
but they are armed with swords instead of lances (hence the weaker charge), and post-patch sword armed warriors get an attack bonus vs spearmen, so do templars get this?

from experience it seems they do but I can't be sure, as they have often done better than other knights in a protracted fight vs feudal sgts
might be cooindidence or my imagination tho...

any thoughts?

I'm guessing imagination, but of course it could be an coincedence not sure.

what i'm saying is that i've never noticed any advantage
that templar have over normal except -50 fl cost
