How do you set up a clan?

Also how do I get onto the multiplayer foyer? And I can't play battle mode on my MTW. It says hard sprites failed to load. What's up with this?

Enrico:

Drivers are the software that drive your computer components. There is a video driver, a sound driver, etc. that tell your computer how to get the parts to talk correctly to each other.

If you are getting a message about sprites you may need to go online to the video/graphics software/hardware manufacturers website and download the latest. This will upgrade your system and hopefully correct your problem.

Look in the Apothecary forum for great hints and info.

You might also check your game box to ensure that your computer has the minimum capabilities to run all the parts of the game.

If this still doesn't help then take a course in personal computers.

Once you get online in MP then you can play against and chat with clan members. After a while you may get asked to join a clan.

Sorry for the late response, I was detained from getting online for most of the day.

Can you provide more information about your system? Things like operating system (Win98, WinME, WinXP, etc), CPU (Pentium III 700 mHz, Athlon 1 gHz, etc), amount of RAM, Graphics card, sound card, DirectX version and if you have the patch for MTW installed. Thanks.

As for clans and joining one, that is a personal decision. Once you are able to play online, try to get into games with people from different clans and get a feel for personalities and play styles that appeal to you. Also, visit the web sites of various clans and scan their forums and post there. This also gives you a feel for clan personality. For clans that feel right, hang out in their forums and play them online as much as you can. They have to like you as a person and player too.

WinXP, DirectX 8.1, Celeron®CPU 1.80 ghz(I think), 128 MB of ram, Can't install the patch the server is always reset, sound card=1.83 mb, graphics card=12.3. Is that what you needed?

Almost. I need the specific type of soundcard (SoundBlaster Live, etc) and graphics card (GeForce 3, etc).

I'm not sure if WinXP is the same, but here is how you can find the sound and graphics cards: right-click on My Computer and select Properties from the menu. In the window the comes up, select the Device Manager tab. Within this tab, open up (click on) the Display adapter and Sound... items listed. Your cards should be listed in there.
