Looking for some units

Hello gentlemen,

First of all, please, forgive my english... I do my best but I guess I am not always clear http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif

I have patched the game and now, many of the top units (archery, some spearmen...) have disapeared ??

I have checked the patch readme but found nothing about that point http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Does somebody meet same trouble ?

Does this happen when you load a saved game? Or does it heppen even if you start a new campaign?

What you have found is a feature that was broken in the release of the game but fixed in the patch. Certain units (longbowmen, guns, etc) are only available during certain eras even if you do have all the necessary buildings in an earlier era.
