I confess, I am painting up and assembling my first army for Warhammer with my son, though. Compared with the possibilities of MTW, it does look a little tame though (and about 20x the price&#33http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

Before MTW, I was playing Icewind Dale 2. Previously, Morrowind and NWN.

Next thing on the horizon is probably Lionheart, although nothing really exciting is looming other than RTW and maybe Black Isle's unannounced Jefferson.

Oh, I did have a brief encounter just before Christmas with the first installment of Witch's Wake module for NWN. Short but very sweet

Let me put in the context of a history.....games that are solid classics. First came the Doom series......then there was the Diablo series.....STW....MTW....a brief journey into Dungeon Seige. But MTW draws me back over and over again. I left Half-Life because of rampant cheating....and most games just dont measure up.
